A spark plug used in an internal combustion engine to ignite the fuel to cause the movement. In a car it's usually at least four, but the humble gas lawn trimmers or lawn trimmers, there is only one. And as with all humans (or anything else really), they have now and will eventually need replacing.

If you have invested in a petrol streaks, you should learn how to properly maintain. It is really quite simple to most maintenance tasks, but some people never learn. If something goes wrong, they pay either to the store to repair it or simply stop using it and let it collect dust.

If you're really not all are convinced that perform basic maintenance tasks, you should think carefully about whether you will have streaks of different gasoline primarily to the purchase. Although I actually use gasoline varieties are recommended whenever possible (for obvious reasons of power, efficiency, etc..) If you are not comfortable with it, there's nothing wrong with the decision to buy a variety of electric. Even if they earn less powerful and have other limitations, boil the maintenance of electric trimmers out for easy cleaning or replacing the fuse.

OK, so it away here is how to replace spark plug. Although all trimmers are different, with most models, these general statements of principle, all would have to do:

1. Disconnect the spark plug cover off;
2nd Use a 3 / 4 inch deep well socket for removing the spark plug,
3rd Disconnect the spark plug;
4th This step is optional: If you own a compression tester, at this point, you can control the compression (if you do not own one, skip this step). To test and ensure that it fits tightly on the body. Pull the handle four times in the full throttle position. Check compression - usually little more than 90 to 95 pounds of pressure should contrails can be implemented;
5th Insert the new spark plugs;
6. Pull it with 3 / 4 inch deep well socket;
7th Put the lid again.

And that's all.

That said, if you made the investment for gasoline streaks and you are not comfortable changing spark plugs every power tool vendors should be able to help you. The spark plug is cheap, and work very quickly, so it would not be very expensive to have a professional do the work.
